I actually used the left over binding from the Dinosaur Quilt. I think it went great!
I pieced the backing for the witchy quilt...
I love this tweedy gray. I think it goes great with this quilt. Off to quilting!
I am working on this quilt. So far I am not pleased with it. Ever have something just NOT turn out the way you thought it would? Well, this is one of those. I am trying to salvage it, and my interest in it. I so love this fabric too! Bummer!
.....aaand I just saw I so screwed up that last row! Holy smokes! Back to the drawing board. Grrrrr! I will get through it! (EDIT: I did not screw up, it just looks weird in the picture. When I turned it I saw the pattern again. WHEW!)
Keeping you posted on the albatross front.....

Perhaps it is time to let the last quilt rest -- away from you! I'm thinking a closet or a drawer would do nicely. Retire it for a while. Wait. A few months at least. Go on to things you like. When you return, if you're lucky, it won't bother you and you'll be inspired to proceed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bonnie, let it sit and let go of your intent and see it with fresh eyes later?
ReplyDeleteI have a pile of resting quilts! (Some where around 80 UFO's?) I plan to awaken many of them this coming year! Don't be so hard on yourself! : ) Happy Holidays!
