Random Quiltiness

Hailey and her quilt.  I made the pillow case and the Pillow next to that.

This quilt I did for Sydney.  This square in a square block proved problematic for me when my daughter (then about 4) played with my sewing machine and had moved my needle placement.  That is where the Black squares at the intersections come in (appliqued).  I think it still turned out awesome!

Christmas wall hanging quilt.  Snowflake block between the panel pieces.  I still to this day ADORE this fabric.

This is a wall hanging that was a Guild Challenge Quilt.  It is my own design.  I hand pieced the center block and the corner shooting star blocks.  I also machine and hand quilted this one and added some beading.  Still love this quilt also....

This quilt I was commissioned to make.  It is my own design and is machine pieced and machine quilted.  I think it turned out great.  I wanted something fairly simple to limit the labor involved.

Hailey's top bunk quilt.

Elli's quilt.

This is Quilty.......they are Quilty Friends!

This will be Mark's. (Update, is Mark's quilt.  Finished!)

Row Quilt Exchange Quilt FINISHED!  Yippee!  Another one down.

I designed and made this quilt for my Mom.

Sydney's Wedding quilt.  Her maternal grandmother and I joined forces to kick this out in 3 months.  Wouldn't have happened otherwise, thanks Cathy!

Steph's wedding quilt.  I used the Dresden plate center pieces I had made her for the wedding reception to make their wedding quilt.  So, that is why they received theirs later, because they were using part of it for the wedding.  This is once again my design.

Piper's baby quilt.  Dr.Seuss, turns out her favorite color is red.....what are the odds?

Aiden's Baby quilt, 2015.  My own design, I just chose a block and ran with it.  Flannel back.

Hailey's snuggle quilt.  Finished in 2016.  She picked all of the fabrics.

My granddaughters quilt.  A 2015 finish, machine pieced and hand quilted by me.
This is my second granddaughters quilt.  A 2016 finish and a Christmas gift for her 1st Christmas.

This is my mother-in-law's quilt.  She really wanted something for her room to make it more homey.  This is a simple pattern I found in Quilt Sampler magazine fall/winter issue 2014 "Between the Dotted Lines".  I think this is the 1st pattern in a long  time that I actually followed and did not modify.  Finished in 2016 as a Christmas gift.

  1. Wow you are so talented. I have quilted a little bit, only baby quilts, nothing like this.
