So the last month has been our local quilt show at the MonDak Heritage Center. We had a pretty good turn out this year and what a talented group!
This is the first hallway.....Nice!
The simple one in the middle was the first quilt of a 9 year old. Good Job!!
That block one is sooooo cool! The background make your head spin!
OK this is a crappy picture, the red and white one has embroidered snow man scenes in red. Very cute.
A few Christmas-y ones...
Love these....
Sasquatch making a visit......otherwise known as Big Foot...
Ooohhh the lighting, I need a professional grade camera!!
Some patriotic and quilts of valor, us Montanans love our country and love the Pledge of Allegiance and our American Flag. (That is as political as I get.)
Cute smaller projects. I love that flower on the right!
Love the wonky blocks!
Cute!
Another Quilt of Valor and another patriotic...
This kitty one was cute.
A couple more patriotic quilts....
More patriotic quilts....
I think I got them all. There were quite a few. We are not a big city so we do not fill a stadium with our quilt shows but we had a good turn out this year. I am proud of the girls in our area. They are amazing and innovative.

In the works
The following items are things I have been working on. I got my quilt for my bed back from the quilter and am working on stitching down the binding.
I am in love. I love it and can't wait to get it on my bed!
Don't you just love the quilting Carla did on this?
I also got back my witch quilt and a table runner.
Here is a close up of the quilting.
And the table runner.....
This is what I am working on now.......
Yep! That is a spiderweb block! I am loving it! Why does metallic fabric never read on camera? Annoying.
There is a quilt show going on at the local museum here. I have about 5 quilts in it. I will try to get by to take some photos.
What are you guys working on?

4 Generations to Complete
I have not had much chance to quilt in the last few weeks, so I apologize now. I had a small health scare but we are all good now.
I finished the top from the last post that was being difficult for me.
So what do you think? Still not exactly what I was imagining, but I am pleased with the results.
It could be either a wall hanging or a baby quilt. I will bind it in the black from this line.
I have a pillow that my Mom made for my Grandmother for Christmas one year. I was probably 5 or 6, but I remember her working on it. She gave it to me before she went into the nursing home. It was torn and falling apart so I cut the main panel out to use for another project.
She had free hand embroidered this. I will remove the orange border and just use her embroidered panel.
Now, you may be asking what am I going to put with this? Well, glad you asked!!
These are blocks that my great grandmother made.
I have a whole stack of them.
They are all hand pieced. They are pretty thin, so I am thinking they will need to have some reinforcement behind them.
Any suggestions on this? I was thinking putting them on muslim. Maybe fusing them to muslim? I will need to square them up and will probably put some sashing on them.
I will put my Mom's embroidered piece in the center. Obviously this will be for decoration and a keepsake only and not for use.
Any thoughts or input?

Gentrie
