Renamed: Finding mistakes...

This weekend I put the binding on the "Ex's & Oh's" Quilt...

I actually used the left over binding from the Dinosaur Quilt.  I think it went great!

I pieced the backing for the witchy quilt...

I love this tweedy gray.  I think it goes great with this quilt.  Off to quilting!

I am working on this quilt.  So far I am not pleased with it.  Ever have something just NOT turn out the way you thought it would?  Well, this is one of those.  I am trying to salvage it, and my interest in it.  I so love this fabric too!  Bummer!

.....aaand  I just saw I so screwed up that last row!  Holy smokes!  Back to the drawing board.  Grrrrr!  I will get through it! (EDIT:  I did not screw up, it just looks weird in the picture.  When I turned it I saw the pattern again.  WHEW!)

A week of no sewing

No sewing this week.  Instead it was the fair.  I also worked on some business plan stuff.

These are the best donuts ever.  Have to get some every year, even with a 30 minute wait.

The anticipation of the next ride......it was a rail biter!  Hehe!  Love Hailey's scowl in this picture.

It was hard to tear this little one away.

Tomorrow is 8th grade registration.  School is soon upon us and summer behind us.  Soon cool fall breezes and falling leaves of many colors will surround us.
